Just had an argument with my sister about friendship.
Friendship is the exchange of being nice. It’s not going, they did so-and-so so I must do blah blah. That’s not a fucking friendship. Friendship is seeing something awesome and going, “my good god they’d fucking love this.” Not because they’re your friend and you owe them jack. But because they’re awesome.
I’m not sure if I articulated myself poorly or everyone else has a different idea on what friends are? I don’t know what my friends owe me and what I owe them. Because it’s fucking irrelevant.I hope my friends are friends with me because they like me, rather then the fact I’m nice or whatever.
